Our Teaching and Learning Cycle supports learners to make progress through their 75min lesson.

Leaders reflect on how well the curriculum taught and assessed in terms of consistency and typicality across school.

Teachers across the academy will typically apply the T+L cycle as follows:

1. Review previous learning.

2. Clear and achievable learning goals outlined.

3. Explain new concepts clearly and concisely.

4. Guide pupils through scaffolded activities.

5. Obtain feedback to inform next phase of learning diagnostic assessment.
