ECT Provision

As an ECT at HHA, you will be supported through our local Arthur Terry Teaching school Hub who we use as our Appropriate Body. You will be registered for the Early Career Framework online portal through the Education Development Trust. Alongside this, we offer a contextualised curriculum journey to support you here in school, utilising coaching for topics such as managing student behaviour, looking after yourself, principles of planning, securing QFT, the whole child and assessment, data and progress.

We ensure our ECT's receive their full entitlement to training and reduced timetable capacity throughout the programme along with a ECT mentor who you meet each week. Our ECT mentors follow the mentor programme set out by the EDT, which focuses on a coaching model. These are subject experts.
